The Hood does not make the Monk
After our last post, we promised to not leave any webs, and here we are, with the issues that bother us today.
The hood does not make the monk is an adage people have heard times without number when capacity and ability are measured. While we claim to know and accept the implication of this adage, the culture we promote today is a clear notification that we do not know this adage nor do we comprehend its meaning. Hence, in this article, we will explain how the hood never makes the monk and why changing your sexuality does not make the world a better place.
Let’s talk about the shell…
Transgender is not a new practice, as a matter of fact it has happened in a various ways and the homosexuality or gay practices contribute to this menace. However our focus here is on why there is no need for a monk to permanently seek refuge in another hood.
Embracing your sexuality begins with understanding your sex as male or female and embracing all the strengths and vulnerabilities that come with this sex. Understand that the sex you are born with is basically the hood that veils the person you are, and a vessel for the good change you can bring to the world. Have you ever imagined what the world will be like if we all chose to change our sexes overnight? Did you know that the human race will go extinct? Did you know that the human world will be overthrown by ailments and anomalies that humans have no solutions to? Take a minute and think about this.

Tell me about the hood not being good enough for the person you believe you are, then I will tell you about deliberately and constantly mending the hood, decorating the hood till it is fit the person you are—but first you must understand and appreciate the hood in its entirety–its strengths and weaknesses.
Take a break from these riddles and the trend and think about how women are complaining about transgender folks taking over female sports. Variety is the spice of life but seeking to abhor variety is a deliberate effort to make life lose its spice while we are still living.
Can Square Pegs Ever Fit Round Holes?
Do you not think you are losing a heritage by throwing your hood to trenches? Imagine driving a car in the wheels of the bicycle, how far can you get really before the car becomes a wreck? The reason may be to feel good and stay happy but is it normal to be happy in tight shoes? For how long will you be comfortable in misfit apparels?
What you consider the case or legible for changing your sexuality may actually not be as correct as your proof of work says, you may just need to look a little deeper through this proof of work and see what the missing link is. Only the monk makes the hood so you must confront all the insecurities that makes you think it is okay to change your sex for self fulfilment or societal acceptance.
Conclusion
In you is a desire to make the world a better place and you have all it takes in your natural body to live up to this desire. Your physical appearance is a shell that provides you with all you need to overcome the hurdles that come your way as you add colour to the world. So know that embracing yourself begins with accepting your sexuality, and taking care of yourself equals understanding your body. That is the real body positivity.

‘For how long will you be comfortable in misfit apparels?’
Arguably the line that resonates most with me. Because really, in the words of Seyi Shay, ‘when there are no cameras, and no one surrounds us, who’s going to touch us up?’.
As much as we want to feel more comfortable in our skin and in wanting the things we want, we have to lay more emphasis on being content. Because the obvious lack of contentment is messing up our lives and society as we know it!
That’s the word, “Content”—contentment!
Was looking for where to comment on the Transgender matter.
All the same, Weldone. I have added to my knowledge from the piece ‘The hood does not make the monk’
You can always comment here😊
Always given premium value…Well done!
Thank you
Inferiority complex and mediocrity in most cases nutures the thought to transgender.
When we are no longer proud of our real selves.
When we begin to view self liberty from the selfish point of view
When we get associated with the wrong set of people
And so many other means.
I personally do not encourage it, as such I crave that we all understand the perfection in God’s creative abilities. We were not made by chance.
Thank you
“The perfection in God’s creative ability”… this is deep! Thank you 🙏
Should we then say, ‘The Master has created an imperfect vessel?’ Our capacity as humans has nothing to do with our sexuality.
I believe transgenders often think they can do more by changing their sexuality, but the Master is infinite in all perfection. Changing your sexuality can never make you more.
And like you said, ‘unknown ailments and anomalies’ will keep threatening human existence.
God forbid that I ever consider the Master’s vessel to be imperfect. Thank you!
